‘A beautiful pavlova is easier to make than you think and this recipe is one of my favorites. It’s sweet, creamy and fruity and only has five ingredients. Plus, it’s very affordable at $1.38 per serving.’
Mom uses only egg white, sugar, cream of tartar, cornmeal, and vinegar in her famous dessert.
She suggests taking extra care when separating the whites from the yolks and making sure your mixing bowls are completely clean and dry before you start to prevent the egg whites from coming into contact with the fat.
To make the dessert, Nicky first beats the eggs and gradually adds the sugar until dissolved. He then adds cream of tartar, cornmeal and vinegar and beats for eight more minutes.
