Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion sent fans into a frenzy when they appeared to reignite their feud on Friday.
The online trouble started after Megan dropped her latest song Hiss, where fans speculated that she took aim at the Super Bass singer and her husband, Kenneth Petty, by rapping, “These hoes ain’t mad at Megan, these hoes are mad on Megan’s Law.’
Megan’s Law is a rule in the US that makes it necessary for law enforcement officials to share information about registered sex offenders with the public.
The lyrics appeared to be a jab at Petty, a registered sex offender after pleading guilty to attempted rape at age 16.
Nicki wasted no time and fired back, hopping on Instagram Live to tease a new song with a diss to Megan.

Referring to the 2020 shooting that injured Megan’s feet – and for which Tory Lanez was jailed – she raps: ‘Bad b*** she like six feet, I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said stand up your good foot .’
Nicki also said during the broadcast, “You got three Grammys and you gotta learn to rap to the beat and get comfortable in the music,” before doing an impression of Megan rapping and cackling in a thick Southern accent.
The fiery exchanges didn’t stop there.
Nicki continued the chatter about X by showing off a photo of her manicured feet.
In response, Megan took to her Instagram Stories and shared a photo of herself smiling, as if she wasn’t bothered by the seizures.
Reactions poured in from fans on X, formerly Twitter, announcing whether they were Team Nicki or Team Megan.

The tension between the female rappers was also evident when Nicki released her album Pink Friday 2 in December, as the lyrics apparently included shots at Megan and Iggy Azalea.
Megan had a falling out with Iggy over a failed collaboration in 2019.
“Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I’m not Iggy,” Nicki rapped on the ATL Jacob-produced track.
While the exact starting point of the feud between the superstars remains unclear, many fans believe their relationship soured when Nicki claimed in September 2022 that Megan advised her to have an abortion.

During her Queen Radio ProgramNicki accused an unnamed person of suggesting that she terminate her pregnancy at the abortion clinic after she rejected their offer for an alcoholic drink.
One follower summarized it on X: ‘This is what the Nicki and Mehgan beef started with. Nicki was trying to get pregnant and wasn’t drinking. Megan was at Nicki’s house and told her that if she got pregnant, she should just abort it. Nicki had to remind her that Kenneth was in the other room.”
Megan denied the accusation.
