The growing feud between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion has escalated again, this time with Minaj bringing up Megan’s late mother.
While Nicki, 41, and Megan, 28, had previously collaborated on 2019 hit Hot Girl Summer, tensions escalated and came to a head with Megan’s new song Hiss.
That song contains the lyrics “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” referring to the American law that requires law enforcement officers to share information about registered sex offenders with the public.
The lyrics were seen by Nicki’s fans as a diss against her husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender and was convicted of attempted rape, serving four years in prison.
The text may also have been directed at Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, who was convicted of predatory sexual assault in 2017 for the rape of his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

Megan has not yet publicly responded to Nicki’s comments, although many fans have done so on social media.
