Nick Sirianni used the Eagles’ win over the Chiefs on Monday as an opportunity to taunt Kansas City fans, but the Philly coach has now spoken kind words to the team’s supporters.
After the Eagles’ 21–17 victory in the Super Bowl LVII rematch, Sirianni repeatedly said “see you later” to the home fans at Arrowhead Stadium and loudly exclaimed that he “didn’t hear s*** anymore” as he left the field expired. .
But he was a bit more relaxed on Friday when he admitted he was giving Chiefs fans “credit.”
“Yes, you know, emotions run high in games,” Sirianni told reporters. “I give it to the Kansas City fans. They were rowdy. They had some good things to say at halftime. They had some good things to say when they were going to score. I don’t hear fans that often. That’s what I did in this game. I definitely heard them during halftime.
“I give them credit. They’re not Philly fans. They’re not as good as Philly fans, but I definitely heard a few things they said in the game.

In addition to the Eagles’ heartbreaking 38-35 loss in the Super Bowl last February, Sirianni has even more history with the Chiefs.
As noted by NBC Sports Philadelphia, he was part of Kansas City’s coaching staff in 2012 before being fired along with the rest of Romeo Crennel’s staff.
However, his team got him some revenge earlier this week when a pair of Jalen Hurts touchdowns in the second half sparked a comeback.
As Sirianni himself explained, don’t expect him to keep his emotions in check regardless of the opponent.
“For me, with everything I am, I’m not going to hide who I am,” he said Friday.
‘You know what? I think if you’re someone you’re not, everyone notices it, and so, hey, … I was emotional after the game. That was a little bit of a playful back and forth with the Kansas City fans.”
The Eagles face the Bills this weekend, while Kansas City travels to Las Vegas to play the Raiders.
