Nick Knowles is engaged! DIY SOS star, 60, is getting married for a third time after proposing to girlfriend Katie Dadzie, 33, who is 27 years his junior
Nick Knowles is about to marry his girlfriend Katie Dadzie after getting engaged in New Orleans last month.
The TV presenter, 60, and Katie, 33, shared the happy news on Instagram on Friday.
Sex toy owner Katie, who is Nick’s junior DIY SOS host for 27 years, looked delighted in a series of snaps, including Nick proposing while on one knee.
In another photo, she was grinning from ear to ear as she showed off the ring Nick had given her, which was basically a gummy candy.
She captioned her post: “So at the last minute something special happened in New Orleans.”

Nick wrote, “There was an incident with the Haribo ring in New Orleans. Very happy.’
TV star Nick, who divorced his wife Jessica Rose Moor in 2016, first appeared with Katie in September 2021, after ending his romance with PR guru Emily Hallinan in February 2020.
Nick and Katie made their public debut as a couple in a restaurant in Bath after being friends for several years.
He was also previously married to Gillian Knowles from 1996 to 2000.
Katie has daughters Savannah, eight, and Alex, five, from a previous relationship, while Nick has four children from three different relationships.
He shares his daughter Tuesday and son Charlie with his ex-wife Gillian, while he shares another son, TJ, with dancer Paula Beckett.
Nick also has son Eddie, who was born in 2014, with his ex-wife Jessica, and the presenter met girlfriend Katie through his youngest son.
Katie shared that her two kids had befriended Nick’s son Eddie and said they got to know each other through their kids’ socializing.

However, the Boobbix owner admitted that she didn’t like Nick at first and said it took her a while to warm up to him.
Of meeting Nick, she said: ‘I didn’t really like him very much (…) ‘I’m very shy and quiet, while Nick is rather outgoing and a complete chatterbox.’
Katie joked that initially Nick didn’t give her much opportunity to talk, but said that when they went on a coffee date, she got to know him better and realized they had a lot in common.
She said they spent a lot of time on the phone during lockdown – and the pair have gone from strength to strength in their romance ever since.
The lovelorn couple sparked engagement rumors on Valentine’s Day when Katie posted a photo of a sparkly ring to her Instagram, but Katie clarified that it was an engagement ring.
She said Nick gave her an aquamarine diamond ring for her February birthday, followed by an eternity band to show his “dedication” to her.
Looking to the future, Katie said she and Nick have no plans to have any more children and she doesn’t know if they will tie the knot.
Katie previously spoke about the 27-year age difference between her and Nick when she joked that he acts like a “teen boy.”

Katie spoke about their age difference, insisting she doesn’t notice because she acts older than she is, while Nick has a “Peter Pan complex.”
She said The sun: ‘Nick has a Peter Pan complex, he doesn’t act his age at all. He’s like a teenage boy and has so much energy, I’m acting a bit older too, so it’ll be fine.’
Katie further revealed that the secret to their successful relationship is to have separate homes and maintain their own independence.
Giving an insight into their relationship, Katie gushed that they are “really happy” and said they make sure they have time apart for work and to be with their kids.
