But Nicolas Cage proved he’s just like the rest of us on Monday, going shopping at a local Asian grocer and supermarket in Busselton, Western Australia with wife Rico Shibata.
In scenes reminiscent of his Oscar-winning film Leaving Las Vegas, the 59-year-old was seen pushing a trolley full of shopping.
In an iconic scene from the 1995 film, his character Ben Sanderson goes out to buy booze so he can drink himself to death in Sin City.
But on Monday, he traded alcohol for fresh vegetables and diapers for the one-year-old daughter he shares with Shibata.

He was seen leaving the shopping center with a cart full of vegetables, potatoes, diapers and paper towels.
Wife Rico also opted for a casual look for the date, wearing white jeans, a white T-shirt and a cardigan.
She completed her look with black combat boots.
