The wife of NHL star Carey Price has taken a cheeky swipe at Kamala Harris after explaining why she already voted for Donald Trump in the presidential election.
The race for the White House is finally nearing its end after a dramatic battle between Trump and Harris, with America set to decide its next president on Tuesday.
A number of sports figures have publicly supported both candidates in the run-up to the election, with some even joining them on the campaign trail in recent months.
And with just days left to vote, NHL WAG Angela Price has revealed she has chosen Trump over Harris after expressing doubts about the latter as a ‘powerful, intelligent and capable individual’.
Angela, who has been married to Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey for 11 years, held a Q&A on Instagram over the weekend and was asked if she really planned to vote for the controversial former president.

“I already did,” she replied bluntly.
She then explained her thought process in a lengthy onstage post that painted a damning picture of Harris ahead of Tuesday’s election.
“While I believe Trump would be a strong leader for our country, I am also impressed by it [vice presidential candidate JD] Vance and his potential,” she wrote. “As for the possibility of Kamala becoming the first female president, I have reservations.
“I see our first female president as a powerful, intelligent and capable individual who will have a lasting impact. Unfortunately, I don’t believe Kamala embodies these qualities.’
Angela then criticized some of her followers for cutting ties with her after she admitted voting for Trump, and called on the American public to become more accepting of contrasting views.
She continued, “It’s frustrating when people feel like they have to unfollow or criticize me for voting for Trump. Are we so self-centered that we cannot accept different opinions?

“Embracing diverse perspectives is what will ultimately make us stronger. We must engage in respectful dialogue, challenge each other and prevent further divisions from arising.
“It’s easy to point fingers and blame the other side for division, but we are all responsible for perpetuating this cycle.”
“We must avoid falling into the trap of division and polarization,” Angela added. ‘We don’t have to despise each other simply because we disagree on certain issues.
“Unity is our greatest strength, and we must strive to come together despite our differences. Can we please stop the name-calling and work towards a future where we can coexist peacefully and respectfully, despite our differing opinions.
“Peace and love, whoever you vote for.”
