Former NFL running back Tiki Barber has claimed that the league’s “obsession” with Taylor Swift around Kansas City Chiefs games is “getting annoying.”
Swift has attended his friend Travis Kelce’s dozen Chiefs games since late September, including Sunday’s huge playoff win over the Buffalo Bills.
The pop sensation’s popularity makes it difficult for the cameras to keep their hands off her during games, even when Kelce isn’t involved in the action on the field.
Cameras cutting to the hospitality suites to capture Swift’s reactions are starting to irritate some viewers, like former Giants star Barber, who wants the focus to be solely on the field.
“He scores a touchdown and they immediately shift to Taylor Swift,” Barber said on WFAN.

“When you’ve been somewhere for so long and had the success they had, it becomes inevitable.

Those wishing for Swift’s airtime to end will be rooting for the Ravens in Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Chiefs.
