The NFL will review Patrick Mahomes' meltdown on Sunday after he questioned officials and criticized them in a fit of anger in front of the cameras at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs quarterback was irate over a controversial call in which the referee marked Kadarius Toney as offside, meaning his late touchdown was ruled out.
It meant the Chiefs lost 20-17 to the Bills – their third loss in their last four games.

When Mahomes returned to the sideline, he threw down his helmet and had to be restrained by teammates as he appeared to yell at a referee, “We played our damn a**es and you're calling offensive offside!”

His anger then spilled onto the field when he hugged rival quarterback Josh Allen after the game ended.
“The wildest call I've ever seen,” Mahomes said, shaking his head in disgust.
“F***ing awful,” he added.
Mahomes then added more fuel to the fire during his post-game media conference.
He added: “It's hard to swallow. Not just for me, and for football in general, to take away such greatness, for a guy like Travis to make a play like that, you want to see the guys on the field decide the game.
'They are human. They make mistakes. But every week we talk about something… It's the call. Right at that moment. Not for myself.
“If you have a flag, it changes the outcome of the game. I have never had offensive offside attacks. If so, they will warn you. There was no warning the entire match.

The NFL has a longstanding policy against players and coaches who question the integrity of referees.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid also faced a penalty after calling the refereeing 'a bit of an embarrassment'.
