Buffalo Bills star Von Miller has strongly denied allegations of domestic violence after attacking his pregnant girlfriend.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Miller said: 'It's all false. It's all not true.

“Never in any of my relationships that I've had, never in my current relationship with my girlfriend, have these things happened.

'It's 100 percent untrue. It is exaggerated.'

Miller turned himself in to police in suburban Dallas on November 30. He indicated that something had happened between him and his girlfriend, but emphasized that it was nothing close to what he allegedly did.

The NFL star spoke out about the allegations against him for the first time on Thursday

It was a crazy day,” Miller said, noting there are details about what happened that he cannot reveal because the case is still under investigation.

“Whatever happened, I hate that it happened. “I hate having my name attached to something like this, and it's only a matter of time before I can clear it up,” he added. 'Me and my girlfriend have problems like any other couple, but I've never had such things said against me.'

Miller said it was important for him to speak out after nearly a month of silence in an effort to clear his name.

“It's all false,” he said. “You know, it's not a funny situation, but it's all false and it's all not true. The only thing that is true is that a third son is on the way.”

Miller, 34, faces a charge of third-degree assault on a pregnant woman, which is punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He is free after posting $5,000 bond. The woman and Miller have been dating for seven years.

Miller's case is not listed in Dallas County's online court filing system and an employee of the county clerk's office said the case has yet to be assigned to a judge.

According to a police affidavit that officers wrote, Miller placed his hands on the woman's neck twice, pulled out a section of her hair and threw her onto a couch. The woman was treated for minor injuries, including bruises to her neck, police said.

The NFL had no update on its investigation, while the league is also monitoring all legal developments. The Bills are following the NFL's lead and allowing Miller to continue playing because no charges have been filed.

Miller said the allegations are “false and untrue” and that “it's not a funny situation.”

In a text message obtained by WFAA of Miller's partner, she downplayed the incident, saying the fallout was “crazy and sad.”

“We're doing well…things have been blown way out of context. This is actually scandalous.'

However, the recording of the 911 call in the moments after Miller left the apartment began with the operator asking if a paramedic was needed, while Miller's girlfriend was unsure.

“Um, I don't know, he pulled out my hair,” she said. “I'm like, some blood on me, but not like… yeah, I don't know.”

“He just stormed out,” she adds, when the operator asks if Miller is in the home.
