New details have emerged about the alleged domestic violence incident that led Dallas police to issue an arrest warrant for Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller.
Earlier on Thursday, the two-time Super Bowl winner was accused of assaulting a pregnant woman, believed to be his long-term girlfriend. Her identity has not been confirmed.
The police were called to a ‘major disturbance’ around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Now new details have emerged after the Dallas Morning News obtained the arrest warrant affidavit.
In it, Miller is accused of wrapping his hands around her neck and applying pressure, pulling out some of her hair, stomping on her laptop and pushing her onto a couch.
Police in Dallas issued an arrest warrant for star NFL linebacker Von Miller on Thursday
Miller, left, has had a successful NFL career and currently plays for the Buffalo Bills
It is alleged Miller and the woman have been dating for seven years and she told officers she was six weeks pregnant.
While arguing about upcoming travel plans, the woman left the master bedroom, entered their office and slammed the door, leaving Miller “visibly angry.”
He then entered the office and demanded that she “come out of their apartment.” As she began gathering her belongings, Miller then allegedly pushed and shoved her.
Despite the woman shouting ‘stop, I’m pregnant’, Miller claims continued to push her and as he stepped on her feet, she fell back into a chair.
It is then claimed she ‘put a hand on her neck and applied pressure for three to five seconds’, which caused her pain but did not affect her breathing.
Miller then allegedly took her phone, threw her laptop on the floor and stamped on it. As she tried to pick up her laptop, Miller pulled her hair and ripped out a piece of it.
It is then alleged she got back up and Miller began recording on her phone in her pocket.
Miller is currently in the second of a six-year, $120 million deal with the Bills
Miller is then believed to have grabbed her again before pushing her back onto a bench and then putting both his hands around her neck and applying pressure.
He then left when she told him she was calling the police.
Assaulting a pregnant person is a third-degree felony in Texas.
Miller, 34, is a two-time Super Bowl winner and played for the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams, as well as the Bills.
The eight-time Pro Bowl selection was also investigated for domestic violence in Colorado in 2021 but was never charged.
Dallas police told DailyMail.com: ‘On November 29, 2023 at approximately 11:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to the 3100 block of N. Harwood for a major disturbance call.

“Miller left the scene before officers arrived. The victim was not taken to hospital, but was treated for minor injuries.

A statement from the Buffalo Bills read: “This morning we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and would not like to comment further at this time.”
The NFL said: “We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time.”
