NFL star Myles Garrett rips his helmet off in agony after suffering scary head injury

Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett screamed in pain after suffering a scary eye injury against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The defensive end was against Joe Thuney during the first half in Ohio when he appeared to be accidentally stabbed in the eye.

Worrying scenes show Garrett ripping off his helmet in pain before slamming him to the ground and then falling to his knees himself.

Patrick Mahomes quickly approaches and frantically gestures for the medics to come to Garrett’s aid before he is treated on the field.

Shortly afterwards he walked away with his towel over his head and was officially listed as questionable to return with an eye injury.

As he walked off the field, Thuney is seen apologizing to the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year.

Garrett is arguably the star man for the Browns, as he was a First Team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler during his career.

However, he had his work cut out for him on Sunday against the Chiefs offense, which quickly went up two scores in Cleveland.

Noah Gray and JuJu Smith-Schuster were the Chiefs’ touchdown scorers, and Garrett’s absence from the backfield makes the Browns’ tough task just a little bit harder.

One fan wrote on social media about Garrett’s injury, “You’re doing great,” while another added, “Oh damn, you know he’s hurt.”

Others, meanwhile, claimed his “theatrics” were too much for a poke in the eye, urging him to get up and get on with the game.

The Browns were 3-10 entering their matchup with the Chiefs at the bottom of the AFC North.
