NFL star Jarvis Brownlee Jr. stuns Nashville waitress with selfless act after dining out with his family

Tennessee Titans rookie Jarvis Brownlee Jr. spread the Christmas spirit this week with an incredibly moving gesture.

The cornerback stunned a single mother of six at a Nashville restaurant last weekend when his incredible charity drive helped her pay her rent and afford warm clothes this winter.

Kristie Johnson, a waitress at the Music City establishment, announced the NFL player’s good deed on social media this week.

Johnson revealed that she asked Brownlee for a photo and an autograph for her son, only to gift him much more.

“He then asks for my Cash App and sends me more than enough to pay the rest of my rent and buy winter clothes for my kids,” she wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

‘This is what real men are made of!! Taking care of the single mothers!! My heart will forever be with the Tn Titans!! God bless this man!

“He doesn’t even know how much I needed this help… yes, I cried in this photo.”

Brownlee opened up about the heartwarming meeting this week, revealing to reporters that he had pledged to help several people this month ahead of the holiday season.

The 23-year-old attended dinner with his family at the restaurant after the Titans’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, where he met Johnson.

“That’s all I wanted to hear,” he said. “My mother was a single parent raising three children on her own, and having six of them, I know it’s harder than what my mother went through.

“So for me, just the opportunity to help her — man, it hit me.” It affected my family. It affected my mother.’

Brownlee also shared an inspiring message to Johnson, adding that he planned to treat her and her children to dinner.

“God bless you, Kristie,” Brownlee said over Fox17. “I appreciate you letting me help you. It’s something I always intended to do, just at this level of profession.

“This is my dream, and one of my dreams was to always give back, no matter where it comes from. It doesn’t matter if it’s in my community or another community.

“Nashville is a part of me now. It’s home,” he added. “I look forward to giving back to other families as well, and I hope you’re ready for dinner.” Thank you, God bless you and I look forward to seeing you soon.”

Brownlee was selected by the Titans in the fifth round of this year’s NFL Draft out of Louisville.

He started every game since Week 4 and recorded 55 tackles and one interception in 13 games this season.

He is next expected to suit up for the Titans’ Week 15 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
