Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase has filed for a temporary restraining order against an ‘unhinged and disturbing’ woman who claims to be the mother of his child, according to TMZ.

Chase is reportedly seeking court-ordered protection from Ambar Nicole, who he admits to having a one-night stand with before she allegedly began harassing him and his mother. TMZ did not name the court where Chase filed the protection order. A search of Ohio’s Hamilton County courts turned up nothing.

The 23-year-old All-Pro wide receiver portrays Nicole as an embittered lover who now tries to tarnish his reputation with “calculated and constant harassment,” much of which has taken place on social media. In addition, Chase insists he is not the child’s father, adding that Nicole refused a DNA test.

On social media, Nicole has accused Chase of being an abusive partner and neglectful father, though the former LSU star claims in his filing that law enforcement agencies have not found her credible.

Chase further alleges that Nicole posted both his mother’s and his mother’s cell phone numbers on Instagram, leading to online harassment from strangers. He is now asking a judge to end the “ongoing harassment scheme” that aimed to harm him and his career.

In March, Nicole posted abuse allegations against Chase before eventually deleting them.

“Now Mr. Chase, you have some skeletons in your closet,” the Instagram model wrote in a lengthy, now-deleted post. ‘I know the real you. Stop dodging the courts and responsibility.

“You yourself know that I have several videos that will end your career in one post. I’ll have my attorney at Bengals in 2.5 seconds. You know wassup.’

Jason Lampert, Chase’s attorney, rejected the allegations in a statement to DailyMail.com: “Ja” Marr categorically denies the false allegations of abuse against him. He will not sit back passively while his reputation is attacked, harassed and slandered constantly by the false accuser.

“Accordingly, we will take positive legal action to protect Ja’Marr, including seeking a protective order and filing a libel suit.” At the moment we have no further comments on this.’

In the next post, Nicole said she’d start telling the “horror stories” about Chase, though she claimed she’s “trying to put off sharing receipts” so she can share them during a court case.

She also uploaded two more stories featuring conversations with Chase via text, claiming they were sent while she was pregnant with the NFL star’s child and still in a relationship with him.

In the messages, Chase allegedly said ‘die in hell, leave me alone n*****’ and told Nicole to ‘f*** off’.

Chase is one of the greatest talents in football.

Chase, along with his college teammate, quarterback Joe Burrow, has 168 catches for 2,501 yards and 22 touchdowns in just two NFL seasons, both of which have finished in Pro Bowl selections. Chase was also named to the 2021 All-Pro team and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year that season.
