If you can’t beat them, be them.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly dressed up as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for Halloween — after Kelly admitted she’s “jealous” of the attention the couple receives at NFL games.
Kelly shared the photos of the couple’s costume to her Instagram on Friday, with Stafford replicating Kelce’s outfit from the US Open men’s final, which he attended with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes and Swift.
“Six Swifties and a stubborn tache,” Kelly captioned the photo, referencing how Stafford’s adhesive mustache to emulate Kelce kept peeling off.
The costume choice seemed odd considering Kelly complained about Travis and Taylor.
“I feel like there’s just a cloud hanging over this Taylor Swift thing,” she said on her podcast. “Now I never said I didn’t like Taylor Swift.

Kelly Stafford has openly admitted that she is jealous of the attention Kelce and Swift are receiving
“But I will say that I got a little tired of the Chiefs’ reporting on it — actually the NFL’s reporting on this budding relationship last year. And can she do something about that? No, she can’t.
“It was a good business decision for the NFL, but I almost felt like it trumped the games. I think that’s what bothered me.
‘I was a little jealous of the fact that they were getting all this attention and suddenly the football match was an afterthought. So yeah, maybe I’m letting jealousy get the better of me.’
The Staffords took their children to see Swift play in New Orleans, with Kelly saying she enjoyed the show, before addressing the jealousy she feels about Travis and Taylor.
“I suffered from jealousy over the fact that she suddenly became the biggest show in NFL football or their relationship,” she said.
“And I see my husband working his butt off and I see all these guys that play for the league working their butts off and all of a sudden they’re an afterthought. So that’s where that kind of came from.”
The Rams will not play the Chiefs, the two-time reigning Super Bowl champions, this season.
Stafford’s team is currently 3-4 and currently last in the NFC West, while the Chiefs are undefeated at 7-0 as they pursue a historic third straight Super Bowl title.
