The Buffalo Bills medical team asked everyone to do their best to save Damar Hamlin’s life after she collapsed on the field.

The defensive back went into cardiac arrest after being hit in the chest by a tackle by a Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Monday during a game at Paycor Stadium.

After he collapsed, a large medical team rushed to save the 24-year-old’s life, as the audio from the radio traffic reveals, they called on all medical personnel for help.

“I don’t like how he went down,” an unidentified man said in the recordings moments after thousands of fans watched Hamlin go down at Paycor Stadium and millions more watched from their couch.

Audio recordings between medical staff revealed the stressful moments after he collapsed. “I don’t like how she fell,” an unidentified man said in the recordings.

Seconds later, another man declared that the situation was ‘general call, general call’, which meant: ‘We are going to need everyone.’

‘Call, bring everyone. We need a respiratory doctor, everyone. Bring the stretcher with the doctors,’ said the man in the recordings, according to The New York Times.

It was revealed that Hamlin had to be resuscitated twice before he was “sedated just to give him a better chance to continue to heal better,” Hamlin’s uncle Dorrian Glenn said. CNN.

Since then, Hamlin has woken up and is “alive and breathing.”

His uncle said, “It seems to be trending upwards in a positive way.”

Although the soccer star is currently unable to speak due to a breathing tube, he reportedly asked who won the game on a piece of paper.

Other audio recordings showed the desperate moments the medical team had with Hamlin before he was rushed to the hospital for further treatment.

Around 9:30 p.m. Monday, one desperate medical staff asked another to bring a CO2 monitor to where Hamlin was stationed immediately per doctor’s orders.

‘I need a final CO2 stream now!’ he can be heard on the recording. The test measures how well a person is breathing.

Moments later, another man declared the situation a “general call, general call,” which means, “We’re going to need everyone.”

Another man reported that monitoring was on the way, but another man doesn’t seem happy with his calm demeanor.

“Dave, step up!” he told the guy.

Another agreed, saying, “Yeah, you need to step it up.”

Additional records indicate that Hamlin’s parents were being transported to D-Gate to be taken to the hospital. It was originally thought that her parents were going to be taken to the ambulance to go to the hospital with her son, but it was later reported that they were driving separately.

The ambulance was supposed to leave the stadium immediately, but did not until 9:23 p.m., more than 10 minutes after leaving the field.

The NFL would not comment why the ambulance was delayed, but medical experts suspect the player may have experienced further complications and staff may have wanted to stabilize him before hitting the bumpy road.

“Once the pulse is back, you want to transport him as soon as possible,” Dr. Glatter, the ER doctor, told the New York Times. ‘Sometimes transport is delayed if a patient crashes. It may happen that one of the paramedics holds the driver until he is more stable.

'Call, bring everyone. We need a respiratory doctor, everyone. Bring the cot with the doctors,' said the man. The defensive back is reportedly doing better after his medical emergency, but he is currently unable to speak due to a breathing tube.

Both Pritts and Dr. William Knight of the University of Cincinnati said the speed of medics’ response to Hamlin’s collapse Monday was critical in saving the Pittsburgh native’s life.

Doctors were at Hamlin’s side a minute after he collapsed and immediately noticed that he did not have a pulse.

There are injuries that happen in sports, but it’s rare to have something [that] incredibly serious [that quickly]’ Pritts said. ‘We cannot credit [the Bills medical] enough equipment.

“It’s been a long, hard road over the last three days,” Knight said. ‘[Hamlin] He has made quite a noticeable improvement.

Despite his improvement, it’s unclear when Hamlin’s breathing tube will be removed.

“Every patient is different,” Knight said. ‘When families of patients ask how long they are going to be on a ventilator, in the ICU, [we’ll say]the time that is necessary.

Pritts said the “best outcome” would be for Hamlin to go back “to the person he was before all this happened.”
