It doesn’t get any better the more you look at it.
New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones caught Jaquan Brisker right where it hurts during Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bears and many NFL fans on social media cried viciously.
Jones took the ball to the ground, but raised his right leg toward Brisker as he approached him. But when Brisker reacted and started to jump over Jones, the QB let his foot go up… and caught Brisker in the diaphragm. Jones wasn’t flagged for it either.

As Brisker lay on the grass, fans were quick to call out Jones on what they considered a cheap shot.
“Mac Jones should be banned for life,” an angry fan wrote on Twitter.
Another, more humorous version said, “Protect your jewelry at all costs so that Mac Jones doesn’t kick you in karate while sliding.”
Another fan wanted answers from the NFL saying ‘@NFL how is there no penalty for Mac Jones for kicking the defender crazy. You have to protect players on both sides.’
When Brisker managed to return to the field, he was intercepted from a Jones pitch, and Jones was withdrawn shortly after.
The game against the Bears was his first back from an ankle injury, but the Patriots lost 10-0 at the time.
With Jones off the field, they started to do a little better and his replacement Bailey Zappe led them to two touchdowns in four minutes.
