NFL icons Peyton and Eli Manning look unrecognizable in FanDuel ad… as they prepare for Super Bowl showdown

Officially, Peyton Manning was 3-0 against younger brother Eli and the New York Giants during his Hall-of-Fame NFL career.

Now, years after their retirement, the Archie boys are competing in the Super Bowl, as FanDuel has now revealed in a fantastic new ad.

‘May The Best Manning Win’ is the slogan of the sportsbook’s latest portion of Kick of Destiny.

The title-winning quarterbacks have agreed to the annual kicking competition that will take place during the Super Bowl LIX Pregame Show, but this time it will be a new head-to-head format.

But just as FanDuel has done with ex-Patriots star Rob Gronkowski over the past two years, consumers can still compete for their share of $10 million in bonus bets by correctly predicting the outcome.

“Only from FanDuel, America’s No. 1 sportsbook,” a repeating Eli says in a mirror during the opening moments of the new spot.

“A little stiff,” older brother Peyton notes from a nearby doorway. “What, you have a job interview?”

Eli then explains that he is participating in the Kick of Destiny 3.

“I’ll finally be a kicker like I always dreamed,” says the youngest Manning brother as a flashback sequence ensues.

Dressed in a wig, zip-up jacket, jeans and a polo shirt, Eli is suddenly transported back to his childhood in the 1980s.

“It all comes down to this, folks,” he says as he prepares a field goal attempt in a small park.

Eli splits the uprights and celebrates as if he had done so in a real game.

“Yes, that’s three points to win the Super Bowl,” he says.

At that moment, you see Peyton mocking his younger brother from the sidelines.

“You’ll never get better, Eli,” says a smiling Peyton, who also wears an ’80s-style wig. “You’re just going to have to be a quarterback like me and Dad.”

The obvious joke here is that the Mannings are all quarterbacks: Archie (Saints, Oilers), Peyton (Colts, Broncos), Eli (Giants) and even older brother Cooper’s son, Arch, is an NFL prospect in Texas.

“I was born to be a kicker, Peyton,” a defiant Eli snaps back at his brother. “You’ll see.”

Despite the missed kick, fireworks were shot off and a group of fans stormed the field

The two are then transported back to modern times.

“FanDuel Kick of Destiny 3 is my destiny, Peyton,” says Eli. “You and I both know this.”

They then face off when Peyton gets the last word: “Not if I get it first.”

FanDuel’s wildly popular ad campaign led to a record day for the sportsbook last February, when bettors wagered $307 million on the platform across 14 million bets.

Fans who correctly predicted Gronkowski would miss the kick for the second consecutive year received $25 in bonus bets.

“The Kick of Destiny will be a great Super Bowl Sunday tradition, and I feel very good about my chances of achieving victory,” Eli said in a FanDuel press release. “I look forward to celebrating with everyone in America who picks me to beat Peyton.”

“Eli and I have always been competitive, and this will be a fun way to challenge each other in a very different way,” Peyton added in the release. “I have studied the film of great kickers and trained hard to ensure I take home the win for whoever in America picks me to beat Eli.”
