NFL fan’s vulgar message caught in live TV hot mic moment during Fox’s coverage of Packers-Jaguars game

Hot mics took over the NFL in Week 8 as several profane comments made their way onto broadcasts across the league on Sunday afternoon.

During a game between the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium, the microphone picked up an explicit response from frustrated fans late in the second quarter.

With the Packers ahead, 10–7, they were preparing for a 46-yard field goal attempt when a fan expressed his frustration and was heard on the Fox broadcast.

‘God damn it. Have you gone mad?’ he exclaimed. The shout was briefly met with silence before Kenny Albert and Jonathan Albert began joking during the conversation.

“Did he yell at you?” Vilma asked his broadcast partner.

“I don’t think it was us,” Albert said. “At least then.”

“It was so aggressive,” Vilma added. “I thought he was yelling at one of us.”

“Was that our producer, Fran Morrison?” asked Albert.

“Sounded like him,” Vilma said.

“Or maybe a soundalike,” Albert replied.

While Albert and Vilma stayed classy as they dealt with the fan’s unkind reaction, more profanity flew through the airwaves 208 miles south at Raymond James Stadium.

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the Atlanta Falcons, the broadcast picked up a man yelling “F***ing c**t” midway through the third quarter. Atlanta went on to win 31-26 and move to a 5-3 record.

On the other hand, the second loss in a row for Tampa Bay made it 4-4.

The Bucs wouldn’t be the only Florida team to suffer a loss, as Green Bay beat Jacksonville 30-27. The Packers and Jaguars are now 6-2 and 2-6, respectively.
