NFL fans go crazy after Saints star Alvin Kamara makes miraculous catch against Washington

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara sent social media into a frenzy after a remarkable play he made in the third quarter of a game against the Washington Commanders.

Trailing 17-0, the Saints dug into their pocket of surprises and pulled off a trick play.

Quarterback Spencer Rattler threw a backwards pass to wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr., who was looking to complete a pass.

He saw Kamara running toward the end zone and threw a ball in his direction.

Kamara looked up, saw the ball coming his way and managed to reel in the pass with one hand while managing to stay in bounds.

NFL fans went wild after that catch, praising Kamara for his stellar display of athleticism.

“Alvin Kamara was the only hope the Saints got,” wrote a user on X, formerly Twitter.

Another wrote, “Remember that off-season when a bunch of spreadsheet nerds tried to tell you Kamara had been washed?”

“Imagine if he got a chance on a winning team… such wasted talent, f**k the saints and f**k Derek Carr,” said another NFL fan.

That touchdown sparked an inspired comeback attempt by the Saints, who rallied from their 17-point deficit.

On the final play of the game, Rattler completed a pass to tight end Foster Moreau for a touchdown to make it a 20-19 game.

When faced with the option of scoring an extra point for a draw or going for a two-point conversion for the win, the Saints chose the latter option.

Unfortunately for them, Rattler’s pass attempt was batted away and Washington walked away with a win.
