Eagle-eyed NFL fans think they already know who will take the field at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas this February.

We’re still 95 days away from the highly anticipated climax of the NFL season, but that still hasn’t stopped fans from sharing a wild conspiracy theory online.

Some have predicted that the two teams competing for the Vince Lombardi Trophy will be pre-selected by the NFL and their team colors will combine to form that year’s Super Bowl logo.

In explaining this theory, the popular X account NFL Memes initially pointed out that the logo for Super Bowl LVI consisted of orange and yellow.

That theory was supported by the fact that the Los Angeles Rams – who play in blue and yellow – defeated the Cincinnati Bengals – who wear black and orange – at home.

Providing more ammunition to the theory was the logo for this year’s game – Super Bowl LVII – in Arizona.

There is more evidence to support the claim here too. At the top of that logo was some green, which is said to represent the Philadelphia Eagles.

Then, deep at the bottom, are some red strips – which, according to NFL fans, correspond to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s Chiefs defeated the Eagles to win their second Super Bowl in four years in Glendale earlier this year.

Armed with that “evidence,” NFL fans are now claiming that the league has already decided who will face off in Super Bowl LVIII in February.

With lots of red and blue in the game’s logo, there is speculation that the San Francisco 49ers are on the verge of winning the NFC and making their way to another Super Bowl.

Opposing them, according to fans, will be Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

The 49ers, meanwhile, are 5-3 in the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks

At this point, it doesn’t seem like a wild theory that the Ravens are going to Las Vegas.

John Harbaugh’s team is 7-2 on pace to win the AFC North, but faces a battle with the Chiefs to become the AFC’s top seed.

The 49ers, meanwhile, have plenty of work to do. Brock Purdy and Co are tied at 5-3 in the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks.

They’re also far behind the 8-1 Eagles at the top of the NFC standings — meaning they’re currently unlikely to get a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

However, not all NFL fans believe that the red and blue logo represents the 49ers and Ravens.

Some believe the Chiefs are headed to another Super Bowl against the Minnesota Vikings, while one joked ‘the Commanders are going all out this year!’.
