Jordan Poyer returned to the Buffalo Bills’ Highmark Stadium as an opponent for the first time in nearly a decade and helped his former team win the game with a costly mistake.
The now Miami Dolphin made helmet-to-helmet contact with Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman on a crucial third down, where the play would have ended in an incomplete pass had he not put himself in such a barbaric position.
Instead, the Bills didn’t kick the ball to the Dolphins with less than a minute left.
Josh Allen and the rest of the offense took the field and Tyler Bass kicked a 61-yard field goal to win the game.
