The NFL is drawing even more attention than usual because of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship — and commissioner Roger Goodell is loving it.
Since Swift first attended one of Kelce’s Chiefs games in September, many in her army of fans have started to care more about football.
And according to Goodell, that can only be positive.
“I think it’s great for the league to get that kind of attention, so we’re happy about it,” he told former player Nate Burleson. CBS mornings.
“It connected more fans of Taylor and more fans of the NFL. And to see that in some ways they have a connection, they now have a connection with our game and with Taylor,” Goodell continued. “She’s an incredible artist. Obviously, Travis is an incredible player.”

The commissioner added, “They are happy, they seem to be enjoying their relationship,” Goodell said. “That in itself is great.”
Swift, who is currently on tour in South America, has attended four of the tight end games this season, all of which the Chiefs have won.
However, the pair won’t be together for Thanksgiving as she will be performing in Sao Paulo this weekend.
In the meantime, Travis will prepare for his team’s game at the Raiders on Sunday.

Data shows that Swift’s presence at Chiefs games this season has brought more attention to the Chiefs and the league.
