The Kansas City Chiefs will open the 2024 NFL season with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL announced.

The Super Bowl champions kick off the new campaign in Arrowhead on September 5 in a mouth-watering Thursday Night Football matchup against their AFC rivals.

The game will air on NBC and Peacock, and will see Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co. take on Lamar Jackson.

It is a rematch of the AFC Championship game from the 2024 season in which Kansas City defeated Baltimore to reach Super Bowl LVIII.

That was a close battle, with the Chiefs just managing to beat the Ravens 17-10.
