Newly single Lily James has described herself as a ‘serial relationist’ and has claimed guys are ‘trash’ on the dating app Hinge.
It comes just weeks after her split from bassist boyfriend of two years, Michael Shuman, was revealed.
The 33-year-old actress appeared on Capital Breakfast Monday morning to discuss her love life.
Hosts Roman Kemp and Sian Welby told Lily: “We talk a lot about love life on this show.”
Sian went on to say: ‘We do, and we get a good laugh about our own previous experiences gone terribly wrong. Your character Zoe is very unlucky in love. Can you relate to this, is there something in your past when you leave, am I still cringing?

Lily later explained: ‘I cringe at most things I do. Yes, I’ve been in a serial relationship of sorts, so I haven’t had any crazy dating stories, however, the other day I got carried away by my friends and just got desperate. Now then!
Roman asked, ‘What do you mean?’ to which Lily replied: ‘The boys, they were trash’
Sian then asked Lily, ‘What were some of the icks?’
Lily quipped, “I’m sure some of the girls are too, but the guys are worse.” There’s a line in the movie where my character is looking at this guy and she’s on a date and she’s like, “She’s fit enough to overlook the date,” which is “every day is a new rainbow.” “but that would be a bit of a turnoff for me.
Sian noted that “dating is out” and Lily added: “Not on first look at someone, bit of a joke, I sound like I’m on Love Island!”
It comes as Lily reportedly split from Michael after a two-year romance.
The couple ended their relationship after splitting up in recent months, claims The Sun.
The couple were first linked in February 2021 after they were spotted sharing a kiss outside a boutique hotel in Suffolk while she was filming What’s Love Got to Do With It?
They then made their Oscars 2022 red carpet debut, where they looked darling.
A source told the publication: ‘Lily and Michael have grown apart in recent months and have now decided to end their relationship.
“They just couldn’t make it work as a couple, but they both wish each other the best for the future.”

Meanwhile, Michael is a member of Queens Of The Stone Age, the band known for onstage nudity and allegations of drug and alcohol abuse.
In August 2012, Lily sparked speculation that Michael had proposed to her while out on Melrose Avenue, California with a gold ring on her engagement finger.
However, a representative for Lily said of the speculation about a proposal from Michael: “This is 100% false.”
The couple were first linked in 2021 after they were spotted sharing a kiss outside a boutique hotel.
