Newly single Harry Styles cuts a handsome figure in an oversized blue shirt as he enjoys dinner with pals in Rome before hopping on rental bike following ‘split’ from Taylor Russell

He is reportedly single again after splitting from his girlfriend Taylor Russell for 14 months.

But Harry Styles appeared to have put aside all the post-breakup blues on Friday night as he stepped out in Rome during his Italian getaway.

The 30-year-old singer looked relaxed as he left Il Pagliaccio restaurant after enjoying a meal with a group of friends.

He looked handsome in his effortlessly stylish outfit, wearing an oversized blue button-up shirt loosened over black trousers.

The One Direction star also wore a pair of black sneakers and draped a sweater over his shoulders.

Harry was accompanied by fashion designer and Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele, who lives in Rome.

Alessandro, 51, complemented Harry with a matching shirt, which he teamed with beige trousers and leather loafers.

The two friends shared a warm embrace as they said goodbye for the evening and headed home.

And Harry eschewed the more luxurious modes of travel usually used by the rich and famous and hopped on a Lime bike.

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker was photographed riding his rental bike home.

His Italian trip comes after it was reported earlier this month that Harry is back on the market after splitting from girlfriend Taylor, 29, following a ‘make or break’ holiday.

The pop star and the Canadian actress were last seen riding a public bicycle together during a performance in Tokyo, Japan, in April.

As the weeks passed without any sightings of them together, speculation began that the genetically blessed couple had gone their separate ways.

And news of the divorce unsurprisingly delighted Harry’s legion of devoted fans, while his predominantly female fanbase rejoiced on social media.

Earlier this month, Taylor appeared at the star-studded Met Gala in New York without Harry, who remained across the Atlantic in London.

Friends have since claimed the couple opted to end the relationship after spending time together in the Far East.

A source said The sun: ‘Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a difficult period after their trip to Japan and distanced themselves from each other for a while.

‘He’s been to America and she’s been to London. They made a beautiful couple and it was clear that Taylor made Harry happy.

“However, lately things have become tense and they have taken some time off.”

The reported split comes after a ‘besotted’ Harry was said to be ready to start a family with the actress.

A source told MailOnline in March: ‘Harry feels like he’s lived ten lives, but one thing is certain: his 30s will be nothing like his 20s.

‘He has experienced all the glory anyone could wish for. He is now ready for the next chapter.

‘He’s in love with Taylor. He wants a family with her and this is the next phase of his life.”

Harry and Taylor were first spotted together last June as they left a museum in London and at one point reportedly held hands, according to TMZ.

It’s still unclear when the two stars first crossed paths, but both Harry and Taylor attended the 79th Venice International Film Festival last year in September 2022.

Harry was mainly busy promoting the film Don’t Worry Darling, while Taylor celebrated the premiere of Bones And All.

The Grammy winner previously dated Olivia Wilde from January 2021 until their divorce the following year in November 2022.

At the time of the split, a source told People: “He is still touring and is now heading abroad. She focuses on her children and her work in LA. It is a very amicable decision, adding that they are still very good friends.

Harry has historically been linked to a string of A-list women, from Taylor Swift to Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, French model Camille Rowe, Olivia Wilde and, most recently, Taylor.
