Newcastle United are in advanced talks with Sheffield United over a deal for William Osula.
The 20-year-old attacker made 24 appearances in the FA Cup last season, scoring three goals.
Newcastle see potential in the Denmark Under-21 international and have made a £10m bid, with a further £5m in add-ons.
Negotiations are still ongoing and Osula is keen to make the switch.
The Blades are looking for a replacement, with Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sayki among those they are considering on loan.

Sheffield United midfielder Ollie Arblaster has attracted interest from the likes of Everton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
The England U20 international impressed last season after a loan spell at Port Vale and could be available for around £12million.
Newcastle have already signed three new players this summer: Odysseas Vlachodimos from Nottingham Forest, Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth and John Ruddy, who joined on a free transfer from Birmingham.
The Magpies also made the Lewis Hall loanee permanent for £28million in July.
