Klopp is a sore loser… but I don’t care! Eddie Howe says Liverpool manager Jurgen is right to be agitated when his team fail to win, as he prepares for his awkward meeting at Newcastle.

Eddie Howe says he has no problem with Jurgen Klopp being a ‘sore loser’, and feels a similar frustration as the Liverpool manager when they beat Newcastle.
The pair renew their rivalries at St James’ Park on Saturday night, six months after a bad-tempered match at Anfield.
Liverpool scored a 98th-minute winner that night, beyond allotted stoppage time, and there were angry exchanges on the touchline. The coaches of both teams were charged with improper conduct.
Klopp later stoked hostilities when he sarcastically congratulated Newcastle on their ability to spend money on new players.
Howe responded by reminding the German to be “careful” with the “accuracy” of his opinions, as clubs have spent more or less the same this season. He also said that he would never lose his temper like Klopp did with the officials.

However, the Newcastle manager now says he likes his counterpart and considers the job he has done ‘incredible’. And when asked why Klopp is getting so agitated, Howe said: “I think you have to be a sore loser.” If you’re a good loser, you’re in the wrong job.
Howe felt that pain at Anfield, hasn’t forgotten his team was booed by the home fans, and Newcastle are unbeaten in their 17 league games since.
“It may have helped us in some weird way, in the sense that you go through that experience and you’re desperate not to feel that again,” he said.
‘I don’t need to be reminded how painful it is to lose. I did that during my playing career and I hated that feeling. As a manager, it’s probably 10 times worse, maybe 100 times worse. In fact, I hate him as a manager.
Howe has previously said his team “aren’t here to be popular, they’re here to compete”, and the event was held under a giant flag at St James’.
Liverpool, like Arsenal and others this season, took issue with what they felt were Newcastle’s underhanded game management tactics in August.
But Howe has reiterated his stance, saying: “We’re not here to do anything but try to win the game that we’re competing in, not to be the team that everyone looks at and thinks, ‘Good losers.’ what we want to be
That’s what I try to instill in players every day. I want to build a winning mindset and culture.’
Tempers ran high between the benches during the clash earlier in the season in which Liverpool scored a 98th-minute winner.
Klopp has sarcastically congratulated Newcastle for being able to spend millions on players
Turning to the allegations of success in buying Newcastle, Howe said: ‘People’s comments on spending, I’ll let them. For us, we’ve used windows wisely so far. I am very happy with the squad we have.
All clubs will say the same, it’s not just about a good transfer window leading to success. You can sign good players and still not get the success you crave on the field. Your training, there are so many things that go into building a team and you have to get most of those components right to be consistently successful.’
Newcastle are likely to be without Joe Willock (hamstring) for the visiting Reds, but the midfielder has a chance of reaching next Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Manchester United.
Callum Wilson (hamstring) returned to training on Friday and could be on the bench this weekend. Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron are fine after being hit in a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on Saturday
