According to ESPN, the Brewers would send right-hander Justin Jarvis to New York in exchange.

Canha, a 34-year veteran, has a .245/.343/.381 slash with six home runs and seven steals in 303 at bats.

Canha owes about $3.5 million for the rest of this season, but the Mets are reportedly sending money to the Brewers to cover the rest of his deal.
