Dylan decided to turn his art into a business and opened a store located at 65 Bleecker Street, SoHo.

The videos of the airborne desserts have been viewed tens of thousands of times, with more than 300,000 followers of Dylan and his business on Instagram.
The pre-cut ice cream scoops are then mixed with toppings before they are tossed into the air.
In an Instagram video, Dylan explained that at his specialty shop, “they don’t sell ice cream by the scoop,” they sell it “by the scoop.”
“Each of our ice cream flavors goes through about five or six hands before reaching your mouth,” he said.
After going viral for his agility skills while working at Cold Stone Creamery, Dylan opened his own shop.

“First we use our special machine to fill molds and then, once they are frozen to minus 40 degrees, we take each one out to obtain a perfect scoop of ice cream.
‘Each ball flavor has a different coating and combination. Our Strawberry Shortcake Scoop is vanilla ice cream dipped in white chocolate then rolled in our Strawberry Shortcake Powder.
“Since our ball is minus 40 degrees, it hardens the white chocolate and grabs onto all the dust.”
Although the idea of catching your own ice cream may seem intimidating, Dylan assured fans not to worry if they drop it.
He’ll make them a new one and the customer will only have to pay for a $6.96 cup of ice cream.

He told Grub Street that throwing ice cream and posting videos of his customers dropping and catching them offers a “different kind of experience.”
