New York Giants have no water after burst pipe at their hotel ahead of Eagles clash

Let the mind games begin! The New York Giants ran out of water after a pipe burst at their hotel in Philadelphia, just hours before they were to take on the Eagles in a postseason rivalry matchup.
Faulty plumbing left the New York Giants without water for a few hours at their hotel in downtown Philadelphia, just hours before they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC divisional round.
According to ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan, the unidentified hotel blamed a “broken pipe” for the lack of water in the morning.
However, this issue was resolved within a few hours, with NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo saying the water was turned back on.
The New York Giants were without water at their hotel in downtown Philadelphia on Saturday morning.
Fans on social media immediately smelled a conspiracy, with Philadelphia known for making opposing teams’ stays as uncomfortable as possible.
Just last year, several Philadelphia restaurants turned down catering orders with the Houston Astros as they battled the Phillies in the 2022 World Series.
Social media was quick to share their beliefs that the situation was suspicious. Many felt this sounded like the plot of an episode of the sitcom ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’
Social networks detected a conspiracy, filling Twitter with references to ‘It’s Always Sunny…’
Others gave the Eagles ‘props’ for their sabotage or complained that the game was being ‘fixed’ in Philadelphia’s favor.
“Well played Philly,” wrote one user while another put “broken pipes” in quotes.
Another user commented “THE SOLUTION IS IN” while another used the Philadelphia regional accent to dub this incident “Woodergate.”
Other comments were not so happy, believing that it was intentional sabotage.
This will be the third time the Giants have played the Eagles this season, with two losses on their record.
The first loss came at home and was one of the few games the Giants couldn’t hold to a single score, falling 48-22.
Their second meeting came in the final game of the season, with the win solidifying Philadelphia’s place as the No. 1 seed in the NFC and handing them a bye.
The Eagles have won both of these teams’ previous meetings this season by a combined score of 70-38.
