New Year’s Eve horror when the body of a woman in her 20s is found in a Melbourne car park
A young woman was found dead under a city overpass after New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The grim discovery was found in a car park below Melbourne’s Kings Way flyover, near the corner of Moray Street and City Road, at around 4:30am on Sunday.
The woman has yet to be formally identified but is believed to be in her 20s.
Police opened a crime scene and spent the morning searching for clues.
The girl’s body was found in the parking lot of Melbourne’s Kings Way flyover.
It is understood that the woman’s death is not being treated as a homicide.
“The circumstances surrounding the death have yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing,” a spokesman said.
His body is understood to have been found next to a red car, the Herald Sun reported.
