A haunting new video has emerged showing the panic and chaos aboard the boat in the Bahamas just after an 18-year-old Louisiana baseball player jumped ship after performing a deadly challenge.
Footage shows Cameron Robbins splashing in the vast ocean waters, wearing no life jacket and wearing only his swimming trunks. as many of his classmates are in shock while others are screaming hysterically.
“This boy f****** jumped off!” one person said.
Another said, ‘Oh my f****** god. Oh, shut up. Oh, bye… bye… Oh… s***!’
As others called to him, “Get the buoy.. get the buoy.”
But video shows Robbins, who was a few feet from the boat, suddenly drifting the other way and away from the buoy.before disappearing into darkness, witnesses said.
The U.S. Coast Guard officially ended its search for Robbins late Friday, officials said.

Witnesses claimed he acted on a challenge when he jumped overboard from the Blackbeard’s Revenge cruise ship at sunset at 11:30 p.m., according to WAFB.
The ship was near Athol Island, an uninhabited island northeast of Nassau, when Robbins jumped into the sea.
Robbins had graduated from University High in Baton Rouge just days earlier and was seen wearing his robe and smiling big in an Instagram photo taken days before his disappearance.
The star athlete celebrated his recent graduation from high school with dozens of other seniors from other countries Baton Rogue High Schools, including U-High, Episcopal, Catholic and St. Joseph’s Academy were also traveling, a parent said WAFB News.
The students had arrived on the island only hours before the pirate-themed sunset boat excursion and were staying at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, the parent said.
After Robbins jumped, the boat and his crew members attempted to locate him, along with multiple agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard.
The U.S. Coast Guard District Seven has deployed multiple search and rescue assets in response to getting help from their partners in the Royal Bahamas Defense Force.
They set out and searched a 325 square mile search.

Robbins was on a graduation trip involving many local high schools in the Baton Rogue area. The students stayed at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in Nassau
“Our Coast Guard command center and aircrew in Miami supported the RBDF’s search and rescue efforts since the initial report Wednesday night and continued through Friday night,” a statement from the U.S. Coast Guard reads.
“We were informed this evening by the RBDF that they are ceasing active searches pending further developments and are not requesting any further assistance from the Coast Guard after notifying the Robbins family.”
“We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Cameron Robbins.”
Photos shared on his social media page show him as a talented baseball player, who was described as a “fierce competitor” by his coach.
“Cameron is a kid who is really loved by his teammates, teachers and classmates,” said his devastated U-High baseball coach Justin Morgan.
“He’s a formidable competitor on the baseball field. He is a hard worker both on and off the playing field.
“Our school community is going through a tough time right now, but we hope for the very best.
“Our thoughts and prayers are and will remain with the Robbins family at this difficult time.”

“Cameron’s mother, Shari, is an indescribably wonderful teacher and her kindness and dedication has helped countless children throughout her career,” wrote Daniel Eiklor, the organizer, and Shari Robbins, the beneficiary.
“Please donate as much as you can and share this fundraiser to support her and her family in this unimaginable situation.”
As of Monday night, more than $10,695 has been raised, surpassing their original goal of $10,000.
The U.S. Coast Guard did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
