New Tesla driver fumes over a mum’s ‘careless’ act in a Queensland parking lot: ‘People don’t give a fudge’

A proud Tesla owner has shared the annoying moment a ‘selfish’ mother crashed her pram into the side of his ‘day-old’ car.

The incident happened in a Queensland parking lot on Tuesday afternoon and was captured by Tesla’s remote camera and posted to TikTok.

The video showed a woman wearing sunglasses unloading an empty stroller from her car parked next to the Tesla.

With one hand she turned the stroller around and backed out of the narrow gap between the two vehicles.

While turning the stroller, and without paying enough attention, she carelessly rammed the stroller into the side of the Tesla.

Not even a day old. People just don’t give a fudge about other people’s property these days, I guess 🙂‍↔️

Tesla owner Josh was understandably unimpressed by the footage, which revealed he had just bought the new car.

“Not even a day old,” he said. “People just don’t give a damn about other people’s property these days, I guess.”

Tesla’s ‘Sentry Mode’ uses external cameras mounted in each door jamb and is designed to capture such incidents.

Social media users had mixed reactions.

Many sympathized with Josh and condemned the woman for not being careful enough when moving her stroller.

“She hits the car multiple times and is very aware of it, she is rough and she doesn’t care,” one person said.

Another agreed: ‘This is why I park so far away from everyone. I’m tired of door dents and scratches on my beautiful car.’

Others suggested the act was an accident, arguing that the mother should be spared from criticism.

“You mean the stroller accidentally hits your car?” It clearly didn’t damage anything and wasn’t intentional?’ someone argued.

Car parks in shopping centers across Australia are notoriously small, usually 2.4 meters wide and 5.5 meters long.

Incidents such as those involving the stroller and the Tesla are common and often lead to violent confrontations.

Glebe Hill shopping center in Tasmania has come up with a genius move to prevent this by implementing special double-line parking spaces that allow a car door to open fully without hitting the adjacent vehicle.
