“The fireworks directly hit my wife’s head,” the woman’s husband, Sang Seog Ahn, said The San Francisco Standard.

Her husband’s hands were covered in blood after the fireworks hit his wife, but he told The Standard her injuries were not serious.

San Francisco police treated the woman’s injuries and she was not taken to the hospital.

The couple then drove back home to San Jose.

Despite the accident, the Ahns’ faith in the Lurie administration has not diminished and they believe he will be a “great” mayor.

“I am satisfied,” Ahn told The Standard.

Lurie did not publicly mention the incident during his inauguration. He posted photos of the event to his X account and wrote, “Thanks, Chinatown! You were incredible.”

Lurie, heir to the Levi’s brand, defeated former Mayor London Breed in November.

A political outsider, he vowed to get the city “back on track” from crime, drug use and homelessness, using the skills he acquired running the Tipping Point charity he founded in 2005.

The brand has since grown into one of the largest clothing companies in the world, a company that Lurie is about to partially inherit.

Lurie’s mother Mimi owns 11 percent of the denim giant, making it the largest shareholder.
