Now that the iPhone 16 series is here, we’re expecting the next big smartphone launch to be the Samsung Galaxy S25 line. That likely won’t arrive until January, but a new render may offer our first look at the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Android Headlines and leak @OnLeaks have released renders of the alleged design of the upcoming flagship. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen unofficial renders of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but it is the first time we’ve seen the phone from so many different angles.
Anyway, these new renders – one of which you can see below – show a phone that largely resembles the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, albeit with more rounded corners.
In these renders, all four sides of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra are seen flat, while the left and right edges of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra are slightly curved.
However, keep in mind that some details of these renders may be slightly incorrect, as the leaker pointed out. @UniverseIce posted on X claiming that the texture on the camera housing might differ from this, as it’s apparently based on speculation, and that the borders in these renders are too large. They an edited version of one of the renders provided to show the expected smaller borders, which you can see below.

A smaller phone with a new camera
Android Headlines and @OnLeaks also released some specs with their renders, claiming the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will weigh just 219 grams. That makes it lighter than both the 232-gram Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the 227-gram iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The device will reportedly get the same 6.8-inch display as the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, but it will be slightly smaller: 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm instead of 162.3 x 79 x 8.6mm.
It’s worth noting, however, that we’ve heard the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s weight and dimensions leaked before, but an earlier leak revealed the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a slightly larger display.
This latest leak also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery (just like last year) and largely the same camera selection as before, including a 200MP main camera, a 50MP 5x telephoto lens and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, along with a new 50MP ultra-wide lens.
Whether or not this is all true remains to be seen, but @OnLeaks has a reputation for leaks, and these are the most credible Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra leaks we’ve heard so far.
