New photos show killer yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong recovering from plastic surgery in Costa Rica, after murdering boyfriend’s ‘lover’ Moriah Wilson in Texas

New images of killer yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong show her recovering in Costa Rica after undergoing gruesome plastic surgery in a failed attempt to evade authorities.

Armstrong, 36, fled Austin, Texas, shortly after shooting rising cyclist Moriah Wilson in a jealous rage over her relationship with her live-in boyfriend. She was sentenced to 90 years last year for the brutal murder.

In the newly available selfies, taken from the killer’s phone, Armstrong is seen with her nose in a bloody bandage as he seemingly shows the results of the surgery to the camera by posing from different angles.

One image shows a close-up of what appears to be the sutures of a brow lift. Another shows a selfie of the killer before the operations, in surgical gear.

Meanwhile, a chilling screenshot from an Instagram story shows Armstrong pointing a gun. The message includes the words: ‘Gun safety with @kaitlinarmstrong #bangbang’

Armstrong looked dramatically different when he was arrested, thanks to her reshaped nose and the brow lift, in which a patient’s forehead is incised and lifted to create a more youthful appearance.

The yoga teacher managed to stay on the run for 43 days after dying her hair brown and getting a nose job and a brow lift in Costa Rica under the name Allison Paige.

Last year, a jury was shown the images taken with her phone. The court was also shown receipts totaling $6,350 for cosmetic surgery in Costa Rica by doctor Jorge Badilla.

Armstrong also requested work under her eyes and on her lips, telling a surgeon that she had aged “significantly” in recent days.

Last month, DailyMail.com exclusively reported on Armstrong’s claim that she was pregnant around the time of her arrest.

The current attorney for the convicted murderer believes a jury might have sentenced her to less time if they had known of her delicate condition.

During her murder trial in November, testimony revealed that she had lab work done prior to her cosmetic procedures.

Plastic surgeons routinely check a patient’s general health and whether she is pregnant prior to elective surgery, such as a rhinoplasty.

In fact, Armstrong’s surgery was postponed for a day, a witness testified, because Armstrong failed to complete the labs.

Her doctor’s office told her they were necessary.

She had the labs done the next day and was able to go under the knife.

The 36-year-old killed Wilson in a jealous rage after finding out the rising cyclist had been seeing her boyfriend Colin Strickland while they were apart.

Last October, before she was sentenced, Armstrong pretended to be injured when he went to a doctor’s appointment days before her trial and tried unsuccessfully to escape police custody.

Armstrong killed Wilson in a jealous rage after discovering she was seeing her boyfriend Colin Strickland, 35, while the two were apart.

On the night of Wilson’s murder, the up-and-coming cyclist had gone for dinner and a swim with Strickland.

After Strickland dropped Wilson off at a friend’s apartment and left, Armstrong entered the house and shot Wilson twice in the head, once in the heart and once in the hand — a wound that the medical examiner said meant Wilson probably had her hands up. to protect themselves from the gunfire.

Prosecutors had urged the jury to give Armstrong a minimum of 40 years. She previously rejected a plea deal from Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza.
