New Orleans Saints star Rashid Shaheed will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an injury, it was reported Thursday.
The wide receiver underwent surgery Thursday to repair his meniscus and now faces a several-month recovery, according to Ian Rapoport.
It came as a huge blow to New Orleans just hours before their Thursday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos, as Shaheed joined the long list of Saints standouts.
