A new mom revealed she kept her pregnancy a secret for nine months before shocking the rest of the world with her announcement when her daughter was born.

In an effort to hide the baby bump, Miranda — who works from home — leaned in sweat and oversized clothes so she wouldn’t let the cat slip out of the bag.

Showing off a collection of photos and videos of her pregnancy, the new mom described her choice to hide her pregnancy as “probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

From the excitement when she saw the positive pregnancy test, to celebrating gender with her husband, to her growing baby bump and hugging her daughter – Miranda shared images of their pregnancy journey on her social media after their daughter was born.

Miranda explained that she and her husband chose to keep it a secret because it made their journey to parenthood “so special.”

“We didn’t have a baby shower or gender reveal, and that’s okay…” she said.

“Because now look at us.”

The couple made their own ‘gender reveal’ as they filmed themselves discovering the gender of their baby.

In a follow-up video, Miranda showed herself two months before giving birth wearing a hoodie and leggings, explaining that she works from home and works for herself, making it easy to hide her pregnancy.
