New Mexico man, 30, charged with murder after killing three people in biker gang shooting
A 30-year-old New Mexico man has been charged with murder after three people were killed in a biker gang shooting.
Jacob David Castillo was arrested Saturday in the wake of the fatal shooting at a Memorial Day motorcycle rally in Red River.
The three victims have been identified as Anthony Silva, 26, of Los Lunas, Damian Breaux, 46, of Socorro, and Randy Sanchez, 46, of Albuquerque.
The New Mexico Police Department said gunfire was reported around 5 p.m. When they arrived on the scene, they found two dead and six injured. The injured were taken to local hospitals and one was airlifted to a Denver hospital.
The third victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Two other men among the injured have been charged with unrelated crimes
Castillo was among those injured and will be admitted to the Taos County Detention Center upon his release from the hospital.
Another injured man, Christopher Garcia, 41, from Texas, was charged with cocaine possession and will be taken to the detention center.
Mathew Charles Jackson, 39, of Austin, Texas, was also booked into the detention center after being charged with unlawfully carrying a firearm at a drinking establishment. It is unclear if he was counted among the injured.
Police said “the remaining four persons” who were injured have not been charged.
Taos Mayor Pascualito M. Maestas placed a curfew in the city from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday and local hospitals were also locked pending retaliation and further violence.
The New Mexico State Police has dispatched more officers to Red River for the investigation, which is still ongoing.
The shooting involved members of rival “OMG gangs,” outlaw biker gangs, which the Justice Department describes as “organizations whose members use their biker clubs as conduits for criminal enterprises,” including arms and drug trafficking.

Taos Mayor Pascualito M. Maestas imposed a curfew from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Sunday.
The Department of Justice estimates that there are more than 300 active OMGs in the United States.
The Associated Press said Saturday’s shooting involved the Bandidos and Waterdogs gangs.
Witness Eddie Cook, of Benbrook, Texas, told KOAT that “people ran past where we were standing and yelled, ‘They’re shooting down there,'” as the dangerous scene erupted.
“I never heard the first round shooting, but when they came by, everyone was running,” he said.
Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina, who was off duty, later shared a photo of the event 30 minutes before the shooting.
He wrote on Twitter: “Prayers for everyone affected by today’s shooting in my hometown. Was a great day dining at Red River with my wife.
“What a helpless feeling with no badge, gun, or radio when state police officers and others enter the restaurant and everything slowly closes and you don’t even know if you can get to your car or if it’s on site.”
According to the event schedule, bikers were expected at Bull O’ the Woods Saloon for a Warning Shot live music event.
More than 25,000 motorcyclists were expected in the city for the rally this weekend.
According to USA Today, the Bandidos motorcycle gang began in 1966 in San Leon, Texas. It is the largest motorcycle gang in the US and has thousands of members, according to the FBI.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the gang has been involved in the distribution of cocaine and marijuana, among other things.
