A New Jersey teenager has taken her own life just days after alarming video of the 14-year-old girl being punched and kicked in a high school hallway circulated online.

Adriana Kuch, who was relentlessly bullied at Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township, was found dead in her home two days after the shocking video surfaced on February 1, police said.

The 20 second clip seen by Patch shows several students attacking the teenager, hitting her with a water bottle as she was walking with her boyfriend.

Bystanders are also seen laughing at Kuch after she was punched, kicked and had her hair pulled, as she lay in a fetal position on the school hallway floor.

According to her father, Michael, Kuch was “hit in the face three times with a water bottle” and “passed out.” She then had to take her daughter covered in blood to the police station to file a report because the school refused to do so.

The 14-year-old girl’s father told her ABC 7 he was horrified to see the way his daughter had been treated and did not hold back his disgust when he spoke to the outlet.

“Being hit with a water bottle didn’t hurt Adriana, what hurt her was the shame and humiliation, they just kept coming at her,” she said.

“My daughter actually passes out and they don’t call an ambulance, they take her to the nurse’s office,” Kuch said.

He added that Adriana had “never been in a fight before, she’s 98lbs, 5-2 and she loves everyone.”

Three girls have been slapped on third-degree assault charges and a fourth has been charged with disorderly conduct according to News 12 New Jersey.

School superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides told the outlet that police were not called after the attack.

I don’t think a police report was made. We usually just suspend. If a parent wants to press charges, he can do it with the police,” he said.

“We’re not going to hit a kid twice where they get suspended and then the police charge them too.”

Outraged by the lackluster response from the school, Michael went on a rampage, criticizing the institution his daughter attended before she died and writing about the incident on Facebook.

I want the whole world to know what these animals did to my daughter. I won’t sleep until her family has to see them stand in front of a judge and plead guilty.

“Adriana took her own life because no one at the school was able to help or care or intervene,” sophomore Roman Valez told ABC 7.

“In fact, I’d like to teach people who bully what they’re really doing and how it affects them.”

The district issued a statement on the 14-year-old’s death and summoned crisis counselors for those who needed them, but the students say they did not hear about this in person.

“No one was supposed to know that Adriana committed suicide,” student Lance Jones told the outlet.

They suffered an injury that left them unable to defend themselves, according to Patch.

Others at the protest shared similar stories of troubling and disturbing bullying behavior, claiming the district did nothing about it.

A letter to parents from Superintendent Parlapanides stated: ‘We fully understand that students, staff and the community are grieving the loss of a young woman with a bright future.’
