New Edmonton Oilers fan goes viral for bizarrely celebrating a Florida goal in Stanley Cup Finals… as social media jokes the team need THAT flasher back in the arena as motivation

The cameras caught an Edmonton Oilers fan screaming with joy and raising both hands after a goal during Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday night.

That in itself may not be a strange sight, but it was made strange because the Oilers had not scored: the Florida Panthers had.

As this woman’s friend laughed next to her, an unidentified Oilers fan screamed with what seemed like joy, despite her team going down 1-0.

The Oilers didn’t fare much better after the celebration, finding themselves trailing 4-1 at the end of the second period, while the team was already down 2-0 in the series.

After the goal was scored, some on social media believed it would be a good time to bring back a fan who recently went viral for flashing her breasts during a Western Conference Finals game that the Oilers won.

On Twitter, some users asked about the whereabouts of Kate, the woman recently identified as the flasher on an episode of the Barstool Sports podcast “Spittin Chiclets.”

In that episode, Kate opened up about her viral moment and admitted that not much inspired her to pull off the lewd stunt.

“You know, what… I don’t know,” she said at first, when asked about the reason behind flashing her breasts. ‘The handful of Cheezies I ate throughout the day and the eight Truly’s I drank during the first period were certainly inspiring.’

‘We all went crazy. It wasn’t planned or anything…and yeah, it just happened,” she added.

After revealing how she had tried to bury the clip of her flashing and that she had no interest in accepting the porn deals she had been offered, the podcasters invited her to watch her team play with them later this week .

“I can see with my work what this week should look like,” replied Kate, who said she works in an oil field. “It certainly sounds like an interesting opportunity.”

“Kate” said she couldn’t pick a favorite Oilers player: “People call me the Edmonton Oilers mom. I don’t think it’s fair to pick a favorite.

She was asked on the podcast if she had any motivational words for the team, which is trailing the Florida Panthers 2-0 in the Stanley Cup series.

“Honestly, when they lost the (second) game, I wanted to get in my truck and just drive out to the bush and build a little hut out of damn sticks and live in it after seeing everyone like, ‘Oh well, we got her necessary”.

‘I don’t understand how they need me. But apparently I made myself this person and now I don’t know what to do about it.”

Speaking about the pre-match meeting with the team, she said: “I’m not in a position to have a motivational talk with anyone. Do they like tequila shots?’

The podcasters offered to invite her to watch the match, but it is not clear whether she accepted their invitation.
