New Alienware Pro Headset Coming Next Month Featuring Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation and Graphene-Coated Drivers

Alienware has announced its new Alienware Pro Headset in collaboration with eSports team Team Liquid.

The Alienware Pro Headset will launch in North America in October for $229.99 and is described as new “esports-caliber” hardware that meets the demands of competitive gaming.

The headset has a minimalist design and is expected to be available in white and black.

Alienware collaborated with over 100 top esports athletes and streamers, including Team Liquid, to leverage their expertise for the new gaming headset.

The company’s latest innovation boasts a range of features and components, including 50mm Graphene Coated Drivers for superior directional audio and Hybrid ANC for enhanced active noise cancellation (ANC).

The Graphene Coated Drivers were specifically implemented into the headset to provide “the best out-of-the-box directional audio solution.” The design is also strong and lightweight, which Alienware says makes the sound more responsive and “creates a natural, accurate, and clear sound with plenty of depth.”

“Our Pro Wireless Headset is also less susceptible to distortion, especially at higher frequencies, compared to other gaming headsets made of titanium, plastic or other materials,” Alienware said.

“These features come together to provide gamers with clearer 360-degree directional and vertical audio. This is especially beneficial in games like first-person shooters (FPS) where gamers need to be aware of the direction and height of sounds around them.”

The Pro Headset also features dual-microphone noise-cancelling technology, so players only pick up their voice through the microphone. The soft memory foam and leatherette ear cups provide increased comfort, reduced pressure, noise isolation, and improved sound quality while gaming.

Thanks to the headset technology, the microphone can distinguish between verbal and non-verbal audio. In addition, the player’s voice is better reproduced, regardless of the environment in which he is.

The device also has three connection modes to choose from: USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3 or 2.4GHz connections for PC, mobile and console gaming, with a battery life of up to 70 hours (over a 2.4GHz connection with ANC off), up to 35 hours (over a 2.4GHz connection with standard ANC on) or up to 75 hours (over a Bluetooth connection with ANC off and standard volume).
