Some Aussies are choosing to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a very different way this year by gifting their friends or significant other with a Breakup Box.
The $75 wild gift comes complete with a bottle of Grenache Gin, a fake black rose, a curated break-up playlist, and custom drink recipes featuring names like Tainted Love and The Player.
South Australian Gin Company Never Never Distilling Co. he came up with the idea, and it’s quickly becoming a popular way for people to leave their partner ‘in style’.

The gift box can be purchased from February 1 at Never Nevers’s website.
The alcohol brand said it’s the perfect gift to remind a friend not to go back to ‘that ex’ or a peace offering left on a couple’s doorstep next to the basket of returned hoodies, toothbrushes and phone chargers.
The Breakup Box has been described as a tongue-in-cheek way of saying ‘we’ll never ever get back together’ this Valentine’s Day.
“Valentine’s Day is a conspiracy created by card manufacturers and florists to make money off people’s misunderstanding of what romance is or should be,” said Never Never co-founder and chief brand officer Sean Baxter. .

The rose red gin has a berry flavor and is made with triple juniper gin and Grenache grapes from McLaren Vale of South Australia.
