Never-before-seen evidence in Texas love triangle murderer Kaitlin Armstrong’s case surfaces including plastic surgeon who performed nose job on killer to while on the run that helped her hide from cops

Never-before-seen evidence in the murder case of Kaitlin Armstrong, the Texas yoga instructor convicted of killing a woman with whom her boyfriend was having an affair, will be shown for the first time tonight.

Armstrong, 35, was found guilty last year by a jury in Austin of the murder of professional cyclist Moriah Wilson. She was sentenced to 90 years in prison.

For the first time, the Costa Rican plastic surgeon who operated on Armstrong as she fled Austin after becoming the prime suspect in Wilson’s death will be interviewed on Dateline NBC this evening.

Armstrong underwent a rhinoplasty and a brow lift while on the run. She flew to New York City and then to Costa Rica on her sister Christie’s passport, just days before Austin police issued a warrant for her arrest.

When she landed in Central America, Armstrong contacted a doctor about changing her appearance, using the name Allison Paige.

Armstrong had a nose job and brow lift in Costa Rica while on the run from authorities in Texas who issued a warrant for her arrest in 2022.

The Costa Rican doctor recalled that Armstrong showed up to her surgery with her entire face covered except for her eyes, the surgeon told Dateline NBC.

The night Moriah Wilson was killed in May 2022, she met Armstrong’s boyfriend for burgers and drinks in Austin, Texas

Moriah Wilson (left), who went by ‘Mo’, was an up-and-coming cyclist and described as a child prodigy. She met Colin Strickland, who was a celebrated cyclist in his own right. Although Strickland was dating and living with Kaitlin Armstrong, Wilson and Strickland were in a sexual relationship in the fall of 2021 when Armstrong and Strickland broke up.

The surgeon described her as a normal patient, except for what she looked like on the day of surgery.

“She had a hat on, a hood, and she also had a mask over her face,” the doctor recalled, adding that only her eyes were visible.

The medical professional claimed not to know she was wanted by authorities.

New video of Armstrong being questioned by Austin police and first responders rushing to save Wilson after she was shot will also be featured in the network special, airing Friday.

Wilson, a rising star in gravel cycling, had been in a sexual relationship with Armstrong’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland, when the couple briefly separated.

Strickland kept in touch with Wilson even after he and Armstrong got back together.

According to court testimony, he changed the name of Wilson’s contact on his phone so Armstrong wouldn’t know they were still in touch.

In May 2022, Wilson traveled to the Texas capital for a race and made plans to meet Strickland for dinner.

Armstrong followed them to the restaurant, her black Jeep captured on surveillance video circling the block, with Wilson and Strickland unaware they had been followed.

After the meal, Strickland gave Wilson a ride to her friend’s apartment, where she was staying, and left.

Surveillance video showed Armstrong arriving at the friend’s house where Wilson was staying and firing three gunshots, followed by Wilson’s screams.

Viewers will also hear from the two U.S. Marshals sent to Costa Rica to search for Armstrong while she was on the run.

Most of the evidence in the TV special was shown during Armstrong’s murder trial in November in the Lone Star State, but cameras were not allowed by the judge except for closing and opening statements.

Most of the images in the show have never been seen by the public.
