Netflix’s rumored Beef season 2 looks at Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan for the potential show’s new dueling duo
Netflix hasn’t been announced yet Beef season two has reportedly set its sights on its new couple, according to Deadlinereporting that Hollywood stars Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan are in talks to appear in the rumored second series of the hit A24 anthology series.
Beef won a slew of awards after it debuted the best streaming service Last year, Steven Yeun and Ali Wong won Best Actor and Best Actress in a Limited Series for their roles as Danny and Amy at the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards and Emmys.
Now one of the best Netflix shows may be looking up Moon Knight‘S Oscar Isaac and Salt burn Carey Mulligan will star alongside Charles MeltonMay December) and Cailee Spaeny (Priscila).
It sounds like Beef season two could have some serious star power if Isaac and Mulligan come on board, with Isaac finding huge success with his scene-stealing performance in HBO’s Scenes from a wedding and Mulligan earns an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her role as Felicia Montealegre Master.
Beef season two – what we know so far
Deadline reported that earlier Beef would return for a new series, although Netflix has yet to officially greenlight a second season. However, because of Beef‘s unprecedented success and critical acclaim wouldn’t surprise us if it became a reality.

Beef season one followed strangers Danny (Steven Yeun) and Amy (Ali Wong) whose lives spiraled out of control after a road rage incident, and reports from Deadline suggest the rumored second season will be a similar affair – instead, with emphasis on two different bickering couples. Although the series hasn’t even been greenlit yet, details about the plot and characters are not yet fully known.
Love and other drugs co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Road house) and Anne Hathaway (The dark knight stands up, The devil wears Prada) were also said to be in the running for the rival pairing of Isaac and Mulligan, but this was never confirmed.
