There’s a lot of TV to work through every week, and this week is no exception – something I’ve definitely said about many full TV weeks, but what are you going to do! Television gives, and gives, and takes, and gives some more.

Blood of Zeus

Heron (Derek Phillips) learned some hard truths about his relationship with the demon leader Seraphim (Elias Toufexis) and had an eternal confrontation. (To put it succinctly: twin brother, and killed him.) Now Hades wants Seraphim’s help to escape the underworld forever and overthrow Zeus.
Meanwhile, Heron wonders: if the gods are more flawed than we are… why should we listen to them?

Season finale of X-Men ’97

Two men try to make 1960s South Korea a better place: Kim San (Byun Yo-han), an idealist who hopes that American prosperity can help the Korean people, and Uncle Samsik (Parasite‘s Song Kang-ho), who works from the shadows as a political fixer and social chameleon. But Kim San begins to wonder: is Samsik the real deal, or is he a corrupt influence leading him down a dark path?

Royal (Josh Brolin) is having a great time on his ranch, and that’s all before you find yourself in the weird wormhole that has opened up on his property and goes who knows where. Now, in Season 2, at least he’s starting to make a little more sense – although time will tell if it’ll help him with the timely mess he’s left with.

If you’re thinking, “Hey, that sounds a bit like Argo,” you should probably know: this show is actually based on an article by Joshuah Bearman, who also wrote the article Argo was based on!
Sugar season 1 finale
