Netflix viewers left ‘so upset’ after hit real estate reality show is suddenly axed amid ‘production cost’ struggles

The series Buying Beverly Hills has been canceled after only two seasons.

The Netflix reality show followed Mauricio Umansky, the estranged husband of Real Housewives star Kyle Richards, as he runs a real estate agency that specializes in selling luxury goods, similar to Selling Sunset.

Mauricio starred in the series, along with his daughters Farrah and Alexia. The second series of episodes aired in March.

But, Term reports that the sudden cancellation is a result of “viewership figures versus production costs.”

Fans were quick to voice their opinions on social media, with some even saying they were “surprised” by the news.

“They are so good at what they do. I love this show and wanted to learn more about the housing industry.”

The final season chronicled the ups and downs of Mauricio and his famous wife’s marriage, ultimately leading to their split.

At one point, he explained to his daughters that while he tried “everything possible” to save their marriage, Kyle needed “space” and allowed him to date other people, but on the condition that they not talk about it.

In a clip from the show’s season two premiere, he told his daughters, “I had 26 wonderful years with your mother and I wanted to do everything I could to save it. Your mother came and she talked to me and said, ‘I think I need space.
