Netflix star Jenna Ortega brutally takes down Tones and I, saying she’ll ‘kick anyone out of her house’ if they play the Australian singer’s iconic hit song, Dance Monkey.

The 20-year-old Wednesday actress said she would kick anyone out of her house if they dared to perform the global hit Dance Monkey by the former Byron Bay busker.

During an interview with Netflix’s Cookie Jar, she was asked, “What song is on your ‘Do Not Play’ list?”

Disney star Jenna Ortega slammed the Tones and me, saying she’ll “kick anyone out of her house” if they play her iconic song Dance Monkey.

Jenna responded, ‘I’m not really into pop. A couple of years ago, there was a song called Dance Monkey.

“If anyone ever touched that in my house, they’ll be kicked out instantly.”

Dance Monkey was an instant global hit, topping the charts in 30 countries in 2019 and even peaking at number four on the US Billboard 100.

Tones and I, whose real name is Toni Watson, has revealed that she herself despises the song during an interview with Nova FM’s Smallzy’s Surgery in March.

“I hate that song most of the time,” he said of his smash hit.

“I don’t want to write another song like this… and a lot of times I don’t want to sing it,” he added.

Tones said he began to find Dance Monkey irritating while working in Los Angeles late last year because it was all his collaborators wanted to talk about.

Later in the interview, he admitted that Dance Monkey was “good for me”, but said he doesn’t want to spend his career “chasing that song”.

Before rising to fame, Tones lived an itinerant life, sleeping in his van and earning money by busking in Melbourne and Byron Bay.
