Against all expectations, the Netflix series La Palma has risen to the most viewed list on the streaming service.
The four-part show, which some viewers are calling ‘cringe-inducing’, hit our screens last week – and people have already been talking about it on social media.
La Palma follows the story of a Norwegian family who travels to the Spanish island.
Things don’t start well, after several tourists die in a boating accident just days before Fredrik, Jennifer and their children, Sara and Tobias, arrive.
Things get worse after researchers Marie and Haukur notice the signs of a possible volcanic eruption, which could have devastating consequences for everyone on the island.
The brand new series has become a big hit on Netflix.
